Last day of classes, Thanksgiving Break, the beach, and end of semester talk!

November 26, 2013

It’s been a freaking month since last post, and the only reason for that is that I’ve been crazy busy. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced such a busy fall as the fall of 2013. BUT, as of today, I have my last class for the semester – MY LAST CLASS! How crazy is that? I’m almost done with my first semester at an American University! Today at 12:10pm (18:10 for you all Swedes), I’m on Thanksgiving Break and Liz and I are heading to the beach for a few days! I believe we are coming back to the mountains on Saturday, and I will then have Sunday through Tuesday as study days before all my finals start. History final exam and a design presentation on Wednesday (almost a week from now), Academic Writing final on the next day, and then Tactical Media final on the Friday. So four finals on three days…phu, BUT then I have five weeks of Christmas Break!!! Have some fun design projects to work on then, so I’m excited to have some time to do what I truly love to do.

So with this post, I would like to wish you all a great Thanksgiving (for those who are celebrating that..hehe), and I will most likely come back with plenty pictures from our Thanksgiving at the beach, ones all my finals are done!

Some instagram pictures from the past weeks (liersees is my nickname there)

collagestudied for my second history exam (which went well!), in school waiting for my class to begin, in the car on our way to IKEA one weekend, Saturday brunch in downtown Asheville, Chinese food delivery an evening we were tired and didn’t want to cook, my first visit to a chocolate cafe where we had a long fika with a new friend, proud owner of a Biltmore Estate pass so we can visit the house whenever (it’s decorated differently according to the season, but also can do the winery tasting along with using all the amazing nature surrounding the mansion), me, dinner and beer one evening with my crazy wife and her no-less crazy brother, another day and another beer, and finally my wife bought some yummy peppermint mocha latte from Starbucks the other day.
