A goal succeeded and some new make up in

October 6, 2015

So I believe I mentioned not too long ago about a strategy of mine (or perhaps I didn’t hint about it? anyhow..) when it comes to treatment and motivation. Because even though I want Lina and my life back again, and so forth, the motivation is really hard to find when I’m facing the toughest things right now. So, in order to get some motivation started, I have a strategy in order to reach some goals. I need to structure it a tiny bit more, but in general, the point is that I’m gonna be allowed to buy something, a treat/reward for myself, when I’ve reached a goal. I’m not gonna get into detail with the various goals because I need to organize and structure them a bit more, as I said. However, I reached one goal on Friday last week, and I decided that my reward would be to order make up (which I also needed). This idea to buy something in order for me to reach different goals is not something I’m gonna keep doing forever, because my motivation needs to be based on something more deep than that, but at this point, right now, this is something, an extra push I need, to hopefully experience a deeper and truer motivation later on.

Ok, enough explaining and let’s check out what I bought!

A black mascara from Make Up Store
An eyebrow gel from Nyx
A sharpener from Make Up Store

The bribe (I mean treat) yourself system totally works for me!! Nothing wrong with that as I’m sure wicked ED is doing a great job at punishing you constantly and for no obvious reason. So you gotta balance that out. Also randomly noticed how apt it is that your brow gel is called “control freak”…. mine should be called “go with the flow”. If I ever find one by that name I’ll send it to you 😉 joking aside good job on reaching your goal and enjoy your treat xx

Yes, I really think it’s a great way to face and reach stuff right now!

So glad it’s working for you! I’ve always wanted to be a make-up artist. I think that’s where my true artistic talent is. I see the face as a canvas. You are so beautiful that I’d love to do your make-up just once! Of course, I hate for people to apply mine. 😀

Keep using what works for you!

Thank you! I like they way of looking at the face as a canvas – such a great way of explaining the art of make-up! I would love for you to do my make-up one day! Perhaps next summer, when we’re heading over the States for some time 🙂 Thanks for you sweet words!

If rewards can help – DO IT! No matter what – treat yourself. I know I don’t know, or understnad the details, but you must look after yourself and treat you!
These kind of rewards especially! I got a gel brow brush thing a while back and I’m absolutely loving it!
That is a lot of funky monochrome packaging too! 🙂

Yeah, the reward system is great and I have put up a new goal (which probably will take a few weeks to reach), but I truly believe in it, and will work on reaching it! Aren’t them great the gel brushes! Love it!!! And I’m a big fan of the packaging too, thanks!
