Liz’s family has a tradition of spending a week together at the beach in North Carolina. I’ve been lucky to be a part of this tradition for some years now, and I love every single minute of it. 2014, I filmed a little bit, and forgot about the film snippets, until today. So I decided to put it all together and show you all what it looks like when the Reynolds family clan gets together. It’s usually filled with laughter, beach days, restaurant visits (some years we’ve created lists of our favorite restaurants and then get to vote on a few, and the winning restaurants are the ones we’re visiting during the week – a really serious voting system organized by Liz’s aunt), boat rides, grilling out evenings, fireworks on the beach, long chats in the evenings, wine/beer – but only after 12 o’clock (it’s 5 o’clock somewhere…hehe), and just a lot of quality time together. I love it so so so much.
Enjoy 5 minutes and 13 seconds of family beach stuff fun!

My longboard is here!
I wrote not too long ago about my new hobby, longboarding, here on the blog. I ordered it online (from nordboards – a skating store in California, through Amazon) on Saturday Sept. 5, and 1.5 week later, it’s here in Sweden with me. That’s pretty awesome. I was gonna order it through a Swedish store first, but they didn’t have it in, so it was gonna take them around 6 weeks to get it and it was gonna cost way more as well…So ordering it myself directly, worked out way better for me! Since I picked it up last night, I haven’t been able to really test it out (more than rolling around in the apartment a tiny bit..hehe), but I’m dying to test it out.
Made a short little video when I picked it up at the post office. Check it out here below, if you’d like to.
When you and your wife are bored, yet feeling creative. Film yourself, edit it a tiny bit, and give your viewers 8 min and 7 seconds to laugh at you. Enjoy – Two Chicks & a Chat, episode 1, where we’re talking about our summer plans. It’s out here on the Internet.
In the middle of October, we packed our camping stuff, and together with the rest of the family, headed to Hot Springs here in North Carolina. It was a beautiful and relaxing weekend, filled with campfires, yummy food, a lot of laughter, and the celebration of Liz’s dad who turned 70!!! I decided to make a video of it all, so if you would like to tag along on our camping adventures, afterwards, check out the video below. It will only take about 4 min of your life 🙂
A bit scary…but I’m doing it anyway!
Last Friday, Paige, Liz and I went to Carrboro, a 4 hour drive from Asheville, to see the Swedish band, First Aid Kit. I’ve made a 6 min long video of our trip, which you can check out here below:
In the beginning of May, right after my summer break had started, Liz and I headed to the beach where Liz’s parents live. I filmed a little bit (I’m a major amateur) there and put it together later on, but haven’t really shared it until now. Lesson learned: film in landscape instead. Oh, well. Hope you’ll enjoy it!
from the other day when my cousin, my love, and i played some video games…
